Another location for our herb walks will be Downhill Forest, an 83 hectare forest on the north coast near Castlerock, which was once part of the estate of Frederick Harvey, the 4th Earl of Bristol and Bishop of Derry. Like Castleroe Wood, Downhill forest also contains many plants which are signifiers of ancient woodland. Interested members of the public will receive information on the common medicinal herbs they can find here and in their local area.
Anyone wishing to participate must book their place using the event booking form. As Downhill Forest is a public location with plenty of parking space there will no restrictions on the number of bookings we can take for this event.
The duration of the walk will be no less than 90 minutes (approx) from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm. Please arrive slightly early to be sure to start on time.
Fee: £15
